Exceptional and monumental, 60's Mid Century Modern cubist tapestry mural of stylized women. The color palette consists of richly hued reds and purples. This tapestry was created by Hungarian designer, Laszlo Pecsi.
This very rare, vintage, textile wall hanging, in the purple hued design, features a group of peasant women, with baskets and pottery, in a distinctly Mid Century stylized composition and design.
The modular, abstract schematic figural design is reminiscent of the work of Le Corbusier
The material is a soft, velvet-like fabric with a medium pile.
This sensational wall hanging is in great vintage condition and it's been professionally cleaned.
It's dramatic size makes it a focal work of art, perfectly suited above a long sofa or credenza.
