There are nicks on the chair legs with one having a crack near bottom which does not appear to have an effect on the sturdiness of the piece. A beautiful vintage set by Stakmore, "The Aristocrats of Folding Furniture," NY. The set includes four blonde wood folding chairs with cut out botanical leaf at back, and matching folding table with Formica natural wood patterned top, bumpered edge over blonde wood frame. The table and chairs fold flat for storage making this a great flexible set for many uses. What we really love about this design is the ease of use - finely engineered folding mechanism makes this set so easy for one person to fold and unfold.
