the pieces are hand-made, oval-shaped and made of metal, iron and copper. They have carved, circular designs on their bodies, a typical characteristic associated with the work of their creator, who produced numerous pieces of art, sculptures and furniture during this epoch.
the lamps come with their original, e27 brass sockets, and original, black, turn knobs (see photos.) above the sockets, are the original, brass, colored, swivel harps, each measuring 29 cm in height. Please note, the lamp on the left has a piece of décor differing from the lamp on the right, but this is how they came, when acquired. The inner parts of the bases are made of wood and covered with green felt (see photo.)
pieces are in overall good, original and vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, with some areas of lightly faded color, as can be expected for their age, on the overall structures (see multiple photos.) they have only been gently cleaned and oiled, with respect to their original patina of time. Please note: the swivel harps have signs of age, and could be easily replaced if desired, in order to work with any type of lampshade, if one wishes.
the lamps also come with their original, u.s. Plugs, as they were made in los angeles, california. These can easily be used with an adapter or converter, as this is how the lamps were lit and photographed. They have been tested and are fully functional, with an e27 type, screw in lightbulbs (not included.)
they are heavy, solid and sturdy. Each lamp weighs about 9 kilos
(about 20 lbs.)
dimensions:
- both lamps measure at 56 cm in height, and with the harps, both measure at 79 cm. Please note: the lamp on the left with the screwed-in, additional décor on top, measures at 88 cm.
- both have a width of about 22 cm.
- one has a depth of 14 cm and the other, a depth of 15 cm. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
