Hair on Hide GOATSKIN is a type of leather that many may be familiar with by name but not so much in detail. Known to be one of the most resilient leathers, based on softness, strength and lightweight qualities. The natural properties of goatskin enables it to not only be soft and supple but also water-resistant. Goatskin is much stronger, more flexibility and more softness than Cowhide, sheepskin and also lambskin.
The reverse side stands out with a luxurious black velvet suede, combining perfectly with the ensemble.
Piping or Cording, PROFESSIONALLY handcrafted to add a pop of contrasting color and accent this design, is sewn on both edges: I cover a Medium thick cotton cord by hand with the same fabric used in the back side.
