This Henri Matisse rare vintage 1997 iconic Modernist large fine art silkscreen print " Les Oiseaux " 1947, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The fine art silkscreen print is published by Nouvelles Images Editeurs, printed in France in 1997 in an unnumbered limited edition. It features an iconic artwork image originally created by Matisse in 1947 titled " Les Oiseaux " ( The Birds ), copyright Succession Henri Matisse.

Henri Matisse ( 1869 - 1954 ) The French born artist is known for both his sense of color and fluid aesthetic. Matisse is commonly regarded, along with Picasso as one of the most important artists who helped to define and influence radical Contemporary Art of The Twentieth Century. His mastery of the expressive language of color and drawing won him recognition as a leading figure in world Modern Art. Artworks by Matisse are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print large format fine art silkscreen print measures 39 1/4" W X 19 5/8" H. It is printed on archival vellum 100% rag paper 250G premium heavyweight paper stock, with vibrant ink colors in a matte finish. The publishers marks are printed on the reverse back side of the print.
