These Types of Handles were Separately Made and then Attached While the Crystal was Still in a Molten State Would have Occurred in the Making Process. - This was Quite Common in the Production with these types of Cut Glass Items that Have Added Handles. It Also has a Very Small Chip on the Top Rim of the Pot - Best Seen in the Last Photograph in my Listing. NOTE to Potential Buyers - Hand Wash Only with Warm Water - Absolutely Never Use a Dishwasher as Heat and Drastic Temperature Changes Can Inflict Damage ( Internal Cracks ) less

This is an Absolutely Beautiful Antique American Hand Cut Crystal and Sterling Silver Mustard Pot. It Comes from the Classic American Victorian "Brilliant Cut Crystal" Era - Circa Very Late 19th to Very 20th Century. The Thick - Heavy Crystal Base is Completely Hand Made with Fine and Fancy Deep Hand Cut and Decorated Features - Sparkles in the Light. The Lid is Marked Sterling with No Makers Mark. The Spoon is Marked Sterling and Bears the Maker Mark of David Carlson. It is in Very Good Cosmetic and Perfectly Usable Condition - Displays Beautifully. It has a Small Internal Inclusion at the Top of the Handle where it is Attached to the Pot. It Measures Overall Approx. 3 inches Tall x 3 inches Long x 2 3/8 inches Wide at Base.
The Cut Crystal Features have a Wonderful Clear Color & Sparkle in the Light - It is Much Prettier in Life than my Photographs can Capture.
THIS PIECE MUST BE HAND WASHED IN WARM WATER ONLY.
DO NOT PUT IN A AUTOMATIC DISHWASHER AT THE RISK OF DAMAGE - EXTREME HEAT COULD CAUSE INTERNAL CRACKS TO THE CRYSTAL.
