A very fine antique original French ormolu gilt bronze champleve clock. Very unusual and desired size (10" high and 4.5 inches wide) with rich detailed gold gilded bronze works of the cabriolet legs and reticulated adornment around the multicolored enameled body . Really sharply cast all hand made with precise detail much like Russian faberge enamel objects . Nice heavy weight typical of high end French bronze and enamel with its original clock movement . Circa 1880 signed above the key hole.
