A lovely and rare antique circa early 1900s heavy silver plated gigot or bone holder for carving a keg of lamb, made by Christofle for a Messageries Maritimes ship. Good condition, small surface marks, light surface scratches, and some wear to the silver plating on the steel bone holder end. The handle features the iconic Messageries Maritimes unicorn logo, Christofle mark near the top of one side.
Measures approximately 9" long.
