It is perfect … more This is a RARE original fashion drawing created in the 1950s by a Bordeaux couturier, Jean-Pierre Chansard. It is perfect for today's fashionista. Sexy, chic and elegant. Forever timeless. The strong chartreuse color is bold and dynamic. The slender and sculptural style dress has a cut-out feature with a gathered shoulder detail and a jeweled clasp. Note the long sleeves with elbow length gloves , the up-do hairstyle and the exquisite makeup. ZOOM in to this The fashion illustration is done in gouache and ink on thick off white paper stock. We purchased this from a Parisian print dealer who specializes in original fashion drawings; she provided us with a copy of the couturier's letterhead as authentic documentation. See photo.
