An elegant antique French Old Paris porcelain teapot and tea warmer stand from the late 19th Century. The set is manufactured of white glazed porcelain and features a classic French design. The French teapot and warmer are known as Veilleuse (night lights) or Tisaniere (herbal tea makers) and were used at night in a lady's boudoir to keep a pot of herbal tea nice and hot.
A small tea light candle is placed into the bottom section of the warmer stand and it gently maintains the heat of the tea in the pot.
The underside of the warmer and teapot are unmarked
