This is a Beautiful and Very Fine Quality Original Matched Pair of Antique Sheffield England Silver Plate Candlesticks. Large Size & Scale. They Come from the Classic Victorian Era - Circa Mid 19th Century. They are Completely Hand Made and They are Rendered in a Fancy - Ornate Repousse Rococo Revival Style with Bold High Relief and Finely Detailed Features. They are Substantially Made Out of Silverplate on Copper Weighing Approx 3 1/2 Pounds Each!. They Have No Maker or Other Markings but I am Quite Sure that They were Made in England. The Set is in Strong - Sound - Perfectly Usable Condition However as You Can See The Sheffield Plate Does have Some Excessive High Point Areas of Wear Revealing the Copper Base ( This a Result of Being Polished Many Time Over the Years. NOTE Also that They are Missing the Felt Bottom - Base Pads.
Each Measure Overall Approx 11 3/4 inches Tall x 5 1/2 inches Wide - Long at Base..
