This antique desk from Spain features a nicely carved front side, filled with square and circular medallions framing flower heads set into a grid pattern, and skirt comprised of a beautiful scallop of carved flower heads. There is a forged iron locking mechanism at the top, which makes this desk look like a trunk! Perfect for it being floated within a room. The working side of this desk houses four drawers set down either seated side- with drawers on right being slightly larger in size than the drawers to the left. Each drawer is fitted with a metal bail pull. There is a wonderful old patina throughout this piece- giving it a warm and rustic appeal. The leg clearance from underside of top to the floor is approximately 20". This early 20th century Spanish desk is a approximately 3.75 feet wide; making it perfect for a children's room, or perhaps someone with a smaller stature. less
