This piece has been fashioned from a single piece of petrified wood, which is a fossil. Over time, the petrified wood becomes so sturdy and dense that it is as heavy as marble. This substantial piece weighs in at a whopping 1,100 pounds! (So please be mindful of the weight for appropriate placement within your home, and man power needed to move it!)
