Beautiful and rare, vintage Murano hand blown white with ribbons Italian art glass cornucopia flower vase. Documented design to Fulvio Bianconi for the Venini company, circa 1948, but the signature indicates a later production of 1960s. The vase is signed "Venini Italia" in incised script underneath. It is created with an ornate Lattimo pasta glass base, and attached leafs on the vase. The cornucopia is made with clear glass and white net Zanfirico ribbons. Similar ones are published in Venini reference books (see photos). Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or credenza. Fill it with flowers or display it as a sculptural piece in any room. Collectors item. Midcentury Era. Measures: 7 7/8" tall x 7 1/2" long x 5" wide.
