- It is in Very Nice All Original Condition with No Damage and No Repairs to the Silver. It Appears to … moreIt is in Very Nice All Original Condition with No Damage and No Repairs to the Silver. It Appears to Have Gold Gilt Highlighted Surfaces but They are Somewhat Faded as a Result of Normal Use and Polishing Over the Years. It Still Retains Its Original Beveled Glass Mirror but Note that the Mirrored Finish on the Reverse - Back Side of the Glass Has Some Age Spots - Oxidized Blemishes Etc. This is Actually Quite Common with this type of mirror as They Used Real Silver and it Tends to Oxidize and Tarnish with age. Also Note that it Has 5 Fastener Screws on the Back that When Removed Allow the Front Bezel and Glass Mirror Itself to be Removed Giving Access if you Want to Replace or Have the Original Mirror Restored - Re-Silvered. It is Somewhat Tarnished but I am Sure That it will Polish Beautifully. less

This Really is an Absolutely Beautiful and Outstanding Example of a Classic Victorian Era Sterling Silver Ladies Hand Mirror - Vanity Mirror. It is Completely Hand Made and Rendered in a Beautifully Detailed & Very Fancy - Bold High Relief Repousse Multiple Flowers & Sprigs Motif. It is It is Marked STERLING and it Has the Documented Maker Mark of One of Americas Premier Silver Companies DOMINICK & HAFF ( In Business 1868 to 1928 ) And Also Includes the 1881 Date Mark Indicating the Year that it Was Produced. It is in Very Nice All Original Condition with No Damage and No Repairs to the Silver. Note that I Actually Dissembled and Then Reassembled it to Remove the Glass Mirror This Enabling Me to Get a Accurate Substantial Solid Sterling Silver Weight of 213.21 Grams / 6.854 Troy Ounces ( Not Including the Glass Mirror ). It is Somewhat Tarnished but I am Sure That it will Polish Beautifully.
It Measures 10 1/2 inches Tall x 4 1/2 inches Long x 7/8 inches Wide at Handle.
