Previous owner stripped the factory finish (white) and replaced it with a grey-ish bronze colored metallic paint (very minor flecks of white paint that could not be removed during the restoration are still barely visible here and there/see pictures).

(There IS a center hole where a modern day clock kit could be installed to make the dial functional as a timepiece) less
