Artist: Laubi, Hugo
Hugo Laubi was born in 1888 in Zurich, where he worked as an illustrator, painter, and graphic artist. He completed his fine arts training in Paris and received his first graphic design commission in London. In 1918 he became the director of the printing and lithography company Gerb. Fretz in Zurich. His posters are often colorful, detailed, and painterly. This charming poster for condensed milk is in excellent condition and was recently professionally linen backed.
