A spectacular La Barge framed wall mirror. The beveled mirror with artist-signed, hand-painted gold Chinoiserie frame. Has mounting hardware on verso for horizontal or vertical mounting.
This rectangular painted giltwood mirror has pretty scenes portraying flying birds, butterflies in a natural setting with flowering foliage. The main colours are apart from gold, - apricot, peach, light olive green and antique white. An attractive palette of colours.
Gold leaf background.
Signed by artist upper right "Tricia" and dated 1984. With the La Barge label on verso.
