Late 19th / early 20th century, Continental Europe, likely French, exceptionally executed in opulent Rococo taste, diminutive proportions make it ideal for use as a table centerpiece.

Featuring an ornate sculptural form, having a curvaceous body with intentionally worn patinated finish and intricate pierced foliate acanthus scroll ornamentation, flanked by oversized scrolling handles, rising on foliate feet. Finished on all sides, the maker spared no expense, even finishing the underside.
