It depicts an 18th century pastoral scene with a stream, sheep, and a shy courting couple. The interior of the box is lined in fabric. The box is stamped “France” on the bottom.

This box is in good original condition. There is some oxidation on the body of the box. Please see photo. There is wear consistent with age and use.
