The desk has a classic Traditional style … more This beautiful Traveling Writing Desk is made out of wood, and solid mahogany. The desk has a classic Traditional style and design, it was made in the late 1800's, and it has a red brown mahogany stain finish color. The top of the desk pull up to open to a desktop with felt on top, and the felt pull up to open to a storage under the desk top. We not sure the stand belong to this piece originally, we believe the stand was made in the 40's.
