"lightly" since. Which is to say, it's in "very good" condition -- at least as far as the paint goes (it's a slightly creamy white). The linoleum (?) top, depending on how you view such matters, is in "antique" condition. It possibly has been on the unit since it was constructed (and by the way, it's exceedingly well constructed, and quite heavy). I thought the linoleum top was just charming, abundantly "antique" and wasn't anything I wanted to replace. Depending on your view of such matters, you might want to replace it with a spiffy new top -- retro design, of course! (Specifically, there are ring marks, chips out of the surface, scratches; see the photos.)

This unit couldn't be much more practical and useful, along with its streamlined looks! Put the flat end to the wall and use it as a room divider, with art objects on one side and kitchen things on the other. The rounded shelves are perfect for plants or other art objects.

I used this shelving unit for years and since I've "downsized" I need to pass it on to its next sure-to-be wildly appreciative owner!

Measurements: about 48 long, 16 wide, 41 1/2 high. The interior of the shelves on each side are 7 3/4 deep, 36 3/4 wide. The rounded shelves are about 15 3/4 by 7 3/4. less
