Glamorous, art deco or contemporary style, they are exceptionally rare and were made to order.
I believe they were part of the Ralph Lauren Home Modern Metropolis Collection.
Faux ostrich leather underlying upholstery in a lite rose gold.
Pillow upholstery is high sheen faux reptile skin silver satin finish with dark grey veins. Note they are not original cushions which were white and silver faux reptile skin, but were reupholstered brand new.
High gloss ebonized dark zebrawood veneer atop thick and heavy oak frame.
Finish appears black in some photos but is actually dark chocolate zebrawood with soft underlying tones, a 2 toned tortoiseshell look.
Makers logo plaque on back.
Original MSRP $12,400
Condition is consistent with age and use. The frame has minor dents, dings, scratches, discoloration or finish loss, but is broadly in excellent condition. Underlying leather is mint condition. Upholstery is near mint condition as they were almost never sat in, but "show pieces" in a secondary room. Cushions retain full bounce.
Non smoking pet free home.
