This item is for the base of the lamp only, no shade is included. The harp is included, and the original wiring is also intact and in good working condition. I know some folks prefer to keep as much of the original item as possible with the item, so I will leave it as is. One of the photos shows with a light bulb illuminated.
The lamp is made from some type of bronze or bronze plating. Some of the plating is chipping off in certain parts. Other than that the lamp is in good condition and waiting for your favorite slag glass shade or other shade. Over 100 years old, a true antique! less
