The trunk is in good clean original ready to use condition, the interior is also clean, the interior of the lid is missing some of its pieces, the open space probably had a door or lid, no longer present, the lower section once had a lift out tray, also no longer present. Most of the trunks seen on the market are rather large, and cumbersome, this one is a nice small size, perfect for an apartment or any smaller interior space. Circe 19th C probably Made in the USA. less
