Its original use was as a recessed bed, however this piece has been revised in order to be used as a bookcase or kitchen display cabinet. The top sits over a wide trunk offering lots of storage. The entire piece is hand-carved with typical Brittany motifs and brass tacks. The carvings represent flowers, hearts,,leaves, and other decorative forms. Perfect for a kitchen, hallway, or mud-room.
