This antique chest from France has been designed … Read more A French Neoclassical style painted wood commode from the early 20th century. This antique chest from France has been designed in clean/linear lines, with a rectangular-shaped top which slightly overhangs the case below which houses three full sized drawers, and presented upon four squared legs that taper towards their feet. The drawers are outlined in an accent color and are each fitted with a pair of round-pull handles flanking the bow-tie escutcheon at their centers. Primary color is a sand/wheat color with an umber colored accent trim. This early 20th century French chest-of-drawers could be perfect for a bedroom or den, and is just shy of four feet in length.
