This piece has been rescued from its found state and brought back to life. It was definitely well-loved and shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. Wear marks are visible throughout. On the glass doors, there are flea bites on the edges and few chips at corners/edges. Glass is in working condition, slides easily back and forth. The doors do not have the original door pulls that are classic to this piece. Photos do not show any magnet closure hardware on the doors, but they can be added. Some vertical cracks at sides where the wood grain show surface splits. Wear at bottom. One black heat blemish at the top, but is not visible from ground level (average height). If you are a Heywood Wakefield lover, this is a piece worth saving! It has wear, but is a stable piece for all of your favorite smalls or books. It has been fully sanded and stained in "Heywood Wakefield Wheat" to match. It has a light lacquer finish. See all photos and closeups for reference. This hutch has a simple and clean look to it. With a narrow design, this can tuck into your quaint space. This piece has been restored with a bit of character and original patina still left. Two glass display doors open to two display shelves that are removable. The glass is removable as well. The top piece sets onto the bottom piece, no brackets. The two pieces make for much easier moving.

The bottom double doors open to reveal a cubby and shelf. The shelf is stationary on the bottom piece.
