Made in India, for the domestic market, per previous owner and provenance given as a purchase while on a trip abroad in the C.1950's-60's while on numerous, work-related within diplomatic services. In great shape, considering the era of manufacture with use, but well cared for and maintained. There was a time when India was colonized, and many aspects of silver and sterling were made for the European and American market, as well as spices and the likes and imported out of India.
