Vintage: C.1950's Italian hand-blown, Barvovier' & Toso, cross-quilted salt and pepper shakers with silver plate tops. The salt shaker piece is the transparent one with gilt gold leaf inclusions, with the top slightly less in height, but having wider top, for easy use. The pepper shaker is the green with gilt gold leaf inclusions, which is .25" Higher than the salt shaker, a more narrow top, with closer holes. The salt shaker' screw top, on the silver plate top, has some pitting, as per normal use and wear, given the period with use, normal and conducive, All the holes are opens we tested it out, when we removed the salt which was inside it, as well as the pepper. IF one didn't ever empty and maintain any salt within, or in any type of humid environment such as Florida weather, or any other, normal environment, indicative and conducive, otherwise the Murano is in excellent condition, as is the other silver plate top. The base surround of the top, has the blown Murano glass originally blown into and adhered within the mainframe of the Murano of each the salt and pepper shaker's. The silver surround has a cross-hatched, vent pattern. Murano is in excellent condition, with a dimpled base bottom, a such pieces sometimes were incorporated within the process.
