The previous owner was using these as a single bedframe for a larger bed, so that is also an option. I personally adore matching twin beds, so that's how they have been photographed. These appear to be perfect for an extra long twin mattress, which are easy to find (though they may also work with other European sizes). They are very sturdy and come together with large screws at each rail end.
