The F and … more This is a really striking Hand-painted Quimper Pottery Fish Platter that by the mark dates to 1968-1983. The F and the D are the dates, the JJ is the artist signature. This platter measures 19 1/2”W x 9 1/2”L and is in great condition but there is a loss of glaze the back fin (pictured). This platter has the fish body and the head and the tail beautifully painted with the man in traditional folk costume in the middle with colorful flowers around him. I think it would make a very striking kitchen decoration for a Country French kitchen. less
