This Really is a Absolutely Beautiful & Fine Quality Original Matching Set of 12 Antique American Sterling Silver Seafood Forks. The Come from the Transitional Late Victorian Early Art Nouveau Era - Circa Approx. 1900. Intended Uses - Shrimp Cocktail - Oysters - Lobster Meat - Possibly Escargots Etc. They are Very Fancily Embossed - Front and Back with a Wonderfully Detailed Flower Design. They are Signed with the Documented Stylized "D" Maker Mark of the William B. Durgin Silver Company and Being Rendered in their "Dauphin" Pattern. They are Also Embossed on the Back of the Tines with the Name HANSEL, SLOAN & CO. This Being the Name of the Department Store where They Were Originally Purchased They are in Very Good Condition - No Damage - No Excessive Wear. They Do have Gold Wash Features on the Fork Areas Some with Various Degrees of Age and Use Fading & Polish Wear. They are Lightly Tarnished - Could Use a Good Polishing. They Have Fancy 3 Letter Monograms on the Back Side Upper Handle Area. The 12 Piece Set has a Substantial Combined Solid Sterling Silver Weight of Approx 194.70 Grams / 6.259 Troy Ounces. The Silver is Lightly Tarnished - Could Use a Good Polishing.
