The bulbous urn shaped lamp body is properly adorned with a scrolling and looped ribbon of olive toned swirls with feathery painted gestures to offer a feather like soft as clouds image. the cinched neck is topped by flared disk that reminds us of the soaring iconic Seattle Space Needle that is signature to the skyline of that prominent city. It rests on a brass spoked pouf like or cushion like plinth which is positioned on a a brass toned round riser. These elements with the rounded body the style of painted effects, the carved out design that creates a rough hewn brutalist surface compliment each other with proportions that are sublime. The iconic looking lamp is quintessential Palm Springs Regency Scandinavian Modernist style that was au currant in the 1960s yet still relevant for todays design motifs. less
