3 PC, Small Covered Tureen w Ladle, Red & Blue Floral, Orange Trim, Attributed to Royal Sealy Japan c 1970s
A smaller sized Covered Bowl with upturned handles, a covered lid and ladle has an oblong shape. This set is unmarked but attributed to Royal Sealy of Japan. The milky-white ceramic is decorated with an Imari-Style Floral Motif and the trim on Knob Finial Handles and Rims is a Pumpkin shade.
Perfect for a soup or fruit salad, or simply used as a decorative piece for your kitchen, breakfast nook or dining room.
Condition: Overall excellent, unmarked, only suffers from manufacturer enamel mishaps, and the resting spots of the base and ladle display some wear. Some grains in the glaze may be seen as well as a couple crazing lines.
Size: Overall 9" High to the tip of the finial, 10" from handle to handle, 7" Wide (Oblong Shape). The ladle is 9" long and the width of the ladle bowl is 3" wide. The height of the bowl without the lid is 5"
