This is an exquisite brass box that is lined with rosewood that is divided into two compartments, there is a … Read more This is an exquisite brass box that is lined with rosewood that is divided into two compartments, there is a Famille Rose tile with three dimensional pink roses on top. It is really good condition there is just some damage to one of the brass corners, otherwise I can see no damage. The tile is loose in the top but it doesn’t come off, it just shifts, probably because of the missing corner. I love very feminine boxes like this. I have a very nice dark brown dresser and things like this soften it up. It measures 6 1/2”W x 4 1/2”L x 1 1/2” Deep. It is very heavy and well made and by the mark China on the bottom it dates to 1890-1919. See less
