It is hinged and … more This vintage 1930's Art Deco pearlized look bakelite top handle handbag or purse is ultra chic. It is hinged and opens at the top. Perfect for evening or day wear. It is 11 inches high to the top of the handle when fully extended upright. The pearlized design is very abstract. The closure lip to has 2 silver pins. It is signed with a signature but not legible and says NY with a name. We have had this in our archives for over 25 years. It has a nice amount of room inside. which is 6" W x 2" D x 6' H less
