This extra large lidded vessel is hand painted with two large vignettes of pastoral portraits and foliage designs across connected with botanical. This is an incredible jar and focal point for any brightly colored space. It would be perfect for a sunroom or garden room. This was a custom majolica made in 1971 uniquely for it's previous custodian. It is in good vintage condition. One tiny chip on inside lip of the jar not seen when lid is on. less
