- This is a beautiful set of Art Nouveau Hand Painted Breakfast Set by Rosenthal Porcelain from Bavaria. There is a … more This is a beautiful set of Art Nouveau Hand Painted Breakfast Set by Rosenthal Porcelain from Bavaria. There is a cream and sugar, an egg cup, and a gorgeous tray and is all done in the Violet Pattern. The mark just says Rosenthal and dates to about 1900. The tray measures 12”W x 8 1/4” and has a beautiful Art Nouveau shape. The sugar bowl measures 5” from handle to handle and 4”L and 3 1/4”H. The creamer measures 4” from spout to handle and 3 1/4”H, the egg cup measures 1 3/4”W x 2 3/4”H. The pieces in this set are heavy and well made and just gorgeous. The painting is very good quality, the gold is very heavy. I have never seen an Art Nouveau egg cup. It’s very unusual. less
