This set was made in the rice grain pattern with a dragon in the center of the cup which is marked with a Zhi mark on the bottom which means made in Jingdezhen. The Rice grain pattern is a classic Chinese pattern that dates back to the 19th Century it was made by piercing into the porcelain cutting pieces out before glazing and firing to create the transluscent rice grain shaped windows. This set of four Jingdezhen sake cups are in "Pristine Condition" with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, and very little wear to the set for the age of it.
