The interior is lined in cream silk with blue marbleized paper under the lid. The four corners rest on bronze lion’s paw feet mounted with gilt acanthus flourishes. Ca. 1810. Very good antique condition with signs of age: shrinkage separations to the veneer, restoration to some edges.
