Mounted within are six 19th century custom matted botanical engravings "Sowerby's English Botany, or, Coloured Figures of British Plants". Sowerby was a famous English naturalist, illustrator and mineralogist. Original engravings from the 1866 edition. Plates included: Purple Foxglove, Great Bilberry, Round-headed Rampion, Spreading Bell-flower, Yellow Toadflax, Striped Toadflax. less
