Mounted within are six 19th century custom matted botanical engravings ""Sowerby's English Botany, or, Coloured Figures of British Plants"". Sowerby was a famous English naturalist, illustrator and mineralogist. Original engravings from the 1866 edition. Plates included: Field Cow-Wheat, Yellow Toadflax, Yellow and Striped Toadflax hybrid, Red Bartsia, Peach-leaved Bell-Flower, Nettle-leaved Bell-Flower. Two available. See less
