Lined damask interior. There are wooden "pulls" on the front and bacl, two of them have loses and are chipped. The lid functions smoothly, yet shows age warping and shrinkage. We could debate the country of origin on this piece until the cows come home ; It's firmly rooted in the Biedermeier taste, and European, most likely Austrian / German or French. less
