This David Hockney rare vintage 1988 lithograph print custom framed Metropolitan Museum of Art poster " Mount Fuji and Flowers " 1972, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection. The lithograph print poster is published in an unnumbered limited edition by The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, Department of Twentieth Century Art, printed in The United States in 1988. It features an original artwork by the world famous British Pop Art Contemporary artist David Hockney titled " Mount Fuji and Flowers " created in 1972.
David Hockney ( B.1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to the Pop Art movement of the 1960's, he is considered one of the most influential British artists of The 20th Century. His Pop Art Expressionist artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Artworks by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print vintage framed museum poster measures 25 1/4" W X 37 1/4" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in an aqua turquoise matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling.
