This mirror made from old bog oak is a very special piece.
It was made for the birthday boy on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
This can be seen from the carved dates on the mirror, which are 1837 - 1887.
The mirror has a small shelf with a depth of 17 cm.
A crown has been worked into the upper ridge as a finial. Below this are bands into which the dates have been inserted.
The piece is 90 cm high and 29 cm wide.
