These pillows were used by women to elevate their heads to keep their intricate hairstyles intact and undisturbed. This one has a charming face with large black spots on a cream-colored body resting on an umber bordered base. It is in a good state of preservation with only a minor chip on the base and what appears to be a spot on the tip of one ear where the glaze was missing before firing.
