Description: Pair of architectural feather edge panels painted in the Pompeiian taste. The panels each feature a pair of mythical creatures … more Pair of architectural feather edge panels painted in the Pompeiian taste. The panels each feature a pair of mythical creatures which are a hybrid between a griffin and a female centaur. These conceits were part of a suite of decorative architectural panelings and have been professionally conserved. Signed on the left panel, lower right. The panels have been mounted in a custom frame for use as a king size headboard.
