Chinese Gilt Polychrome Wooden Carved Tang Dynasty Style Horse Sculpture. Featured nicely hand carved and hand painted with gilt highlighted on the sculpture. From the pictures, you can see that the sculpture is hand craft with exquisite detail which was very common in horse sculptures crafted during the Tang Dynasty. Especially for imperial family use. This sculpture is replica from Mid-20th Century using solid wood with very detailed hand craft works which reflects the great respection of the Chinese people have for the horses
