This rare vintage 1989 " Andy Warhol The Factory Years 1964 - 1967 " Nat Finkelstein lithograph print collector's photography exhibition Pop Art poster is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The lithograph print exhibition poster is published by Art Unlimited, Postbus 1760 - Amsterdam, printed in Holland in 1989 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition of the photos of photographer Nat Finkelstein at The Victoria & Albert Museum in London titled " Andy Warhol The Factory years 1964 - 1967 ". The Victoria and Albert Museum in London is the worlds largest museum of decorative arts and design, housing a permanent collection of over two million objects. It was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
Nathan Louis " Nat " Finkelstein ( 1933 - 2009 ) was an American photographer and photojournalist. His work primarily focused n the political developments and various subcultures in New York City in the 1960's. In 1964 Finkelstein entered Andy Warhol's " Factory " as a photojournalist and remained there for three years. Finkelstein's photographs from this period are now regarded as some of the most iconic of that time.
Finkelstein's photography has been the subject of over seventy five worldwide exhibitions, and held in the collections of many prestigious museums including The International Center of Photography, The Whitney Museum of American Art New York, The Andy Warhol Museum, The Tate Modern London, The Victoria & Albert Museum, The Ludwig Museum Budapest, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Stedlijk Museum Amsterdam, and The Centre Georges Pompidou Paris among many others.
